بیوتکنولوژی
بیوتکنولوژی نخستین بار در سال ۱۹۱۹ از سوی کارل ارکی (Karl Ereky) به مفهوم استفاده از سیستمهای زنده و ارگانیسمها برای توسعه یا تولید محصولات یا هر گونه کاربرد فناورانه که از سیستمهای زیستی، موجودات زنده یا مشتقات آن استفاده میکند تا محصولات یا فرآیندهای خاصی را ایجاد یا اصلاح کند. بهطور کلی هر گونه کنش هوشمندانه بشر در آفرینش، بهبود و عرضه فراوردههای گوناگون با استفاده از جانداران، به ویژه از طریق دستکاری آنها در سطح مولکولی در حوزه این مهمترین، پاکترین و اقتصادیترین فناوری شده حاضر، زیستفناوری، قرار میگیرد. نام این دانش از این رو در ایران با نام «بیوتکنولوژی» شناخته میشود که این عمل تقریباً در تمام کشورهای جهان با همین نام شناخته میشود.

1. Buffers provided in this system contain irritants. Wear gloves and lab coat
when handling these buffers.
2. Store proteinase K tube at -20 °C. Before first use, add required volume of
sterile ddH2O to Proteinase K tube to make a 10 mg/ml stock solution.
Vortex and make sure that Proteinase K has been completely dissolved.
Store the stock solution at 4 °C.
3. Add required volume of ethanol (96- 100 %) to W1 Buffer and Wash Buffer
when first use.
4. Preheat a dry bath or water bath to 60 °C before the operation.
5. All centrifuge steps are done at full speed (~18,000 x g) in a microcentrifuge.
